Matched with the same great golf course conditioning is Sidewinder, rated 4 Stars by Golf Digest. Sidewinder leads golfers through desert arroyos and native desert washes and tests the meddle of your club distances. The course offers a challenging desert layout for golfers of all abilities.
Located in North Mesa, Longbow Golf Club is just minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and Old Town Scottsdale. The award-winning Longbow Golf Club was honored as one of the "Top 100 Resort Courses in the Country" and ranked as "One of The Top 20 Best Courses You Can Play In Arizona", by Golfweek Magazine. Longbow Golf Club first opened in 1997 and the complete redesign was unveiled in the fall of 2003. The redesign included a striking new clubhouse, expanded acreage and totally revamped practice facility, Longbow Golf Club, more than ever is a “must-play.”
The redesign improves upon perfection by lengthening the total yardage to 7,050 from the back tees and expanding the fairways to be enjoyable by players of all skill levels. The distinctive new Arizona contemporary clubhouse is a one-of-a-kind structure that offers a spacious outdoor event patio with fans, heaters, misters, outdoor kitchen and bar, enormous patio fireplace, cozy restaurant, and well-appointed golf shop.
As a special treat, Golfboards are available for rent during your round. Reservations must be made in advance so be sure to ask for one when making your tee times. Players need to watch a 7 minute training video and sign a waiver before using the GolfBoards. The whole process usually takes about 10 – 15 minutes, so it is recommended that players do this online before they arrive or make sure they check in at least 30 minutes earlier than normal.
A demanding desert-style layout winding through the Usery Mountains in eastern Mesa, this upscale course is setting the standard for customer service in the Mesa, Scottsdale, and Greater Phoenix areas. Las Sendas’ spectacular views of the Phoenix metropolis and skyline help soften the demand of managing your game through the rugged terrain, nearly 1800 feet above the desert floor. This course has a reputation of humbling even the most veteran golfer!
This Arizona treasure was established in the 1920’s, a time when golf courses did not get built through dense housing developments, and certainly not with tight, target fairways. At the Wigwam, the golf courses have remained at the top of the list. This jewel of the desert is among the Southwest’s last remaining golf resorts built for a pure golf experience. Canals, streams and lakes cascade through the journey. The shadows cast on greens and bunkers are from majestic parkland trees, not multi-story resort buildings.
The Wigwam’s three 18-hole championship golf courses offer a diversity that cannot be matched by any other Arizona resort. Here, the golf enthusiast has their pick of not just one or two courses, but three 18-hole courses – 54 holes of championship golf including two courses designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Sr. And, in true Wigwam style, each course – The Gold, Blue, and Red offers a unique challenge that adds spice and variety to one’s stay at this timeless and relaxing retreat.
The Gold Course, recognized as one of Arizona's most challenging and respected golf courses, The Blue Course, a combination of character and contradiction, sporty and subtle, aggravating and invigorating, and the Red Course, the favorite among locals and club members. Each offers a unique challenge for golf enthusiasts to keep the game exciting.

Playing from just under 4,500 yards at the forward tees to more than 7,000 yards from the championship tees, the artfully crafted collection of six par 3s, five par 5s, and seven par 4s pass through canyons and arroyos which offer views of Vulture Peak and Prescott National Forest. The elevation and relatively mild summer temperatures in Wickenburg allow the Big Wick course to grow and maintain Bentgrass greens year-round. Those familiar with Bentgrass know what a tremendous difference it makes in putting surface quality and is the best grass that most public players will ever have the chance to play on.
The word most often used to describe Coyote Lakes is FUN. Golfers who can control their shots off the tee and around the bunkered greens only have to worry about our quick and contoured greens during our prime season.
Better golfers think because the course plays 6,213 yards that they will bring Coyote Lakes to its knees. However when Arthur Jack Snyder and Forrest Richardson collaborated on the course layout in 1993, they elected to follow the natural terrain of the existing property versus using tons of fill dirt.
The result was a course with an abundance of undulating fairways so it rewards course management versus a “grip it and rip it mentality”.
Copper Canyon Golf Club at Sun City Festival in Buckeye is an upscale daily fee, 18-hole championship golf course designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley. Set within the confines of the White Tank Mountains, Copper Canyon Golf Club offers up to four sets of tees that range in length from 5,200 yards to over 6,800 yards in length. Over 11 lakes not only add to the unique beauty, but artfully protect the integrity of their respective golf holes. Generous fairways look overly inviting to the golfer’s eye, yet are only the gateway to large, undulating greens that have become a trademark at Copper Canyon.
The Legacy Golf Club, rich in heritage and history, is an 18-hole par 71 championship golf course designed by renowned golf course architect Gary Panks. Located on what was once Dwight B. Heard’s 7,500-acre ranch, the golf club is rich in Arizona heritage and history. Taking great pride in preserving and integrating many of the historical structures and monuments, our 18-hole championship golf course offers a unique look and an added opportunity to experience some Arizona history and of the Heard legacy, from which the golf club takes its name. The original two-grain silos, built in 1902, still remain along the 18th fairway and were once the tallest structures in Maricopa County. The Sierra Vista House, which marks the 1st tee, was visited on occasion in the early 1900’s by Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa. Come make your own history at the Legacy Golf Club!
