Why use Arizona Golf Trails?

We offer custom golf packages for groups of all sizes, making group golf travel simple and cost effective for you.  Our custom packages are tailored to exactly meet your groups’ needs.

As Arizona natives, we love the game of golf and play the courses we offer.  We are happy to share our insights with you so you can get the most out of your golf getaway, whether you’re a single digit handicap or a bogey golfer!    

Trail vs Trailmix?

SImply put, our “Trails” are groups of golf courses and accommodations that are close in proximity to each other.  This allows our groups more time on the courses and less time driving around town.  

Want to customize further?  Define your very own “Trail Mix”, which is a combination of the best courses across our trails.  We are happy to work with you to define the best mix of courses and lodging for your group.  We’re all about making your vacations exactly right!

How does it work?

Step 1 – contact us through our website or on the phone;  (480) 288-6600.

We will want to know a bit about your group:

  • Travel dates
  • Number of golfers
  • Number of non-golfers
  • Any course preferences – or we can make suggestions
  • Lodging preferences
  • Car Rental preferences
  • Tour add-ons

Step 2 – we will provide quotes for one or more packages, depending on your interests and preferences.  Our quotes are “ALL-IN”; inclusive of all taxes and fees;   the price quoted is the total amount you will pay – NO SURPRISES!

Step 3 – pick a package by placing a $200 per player, non-refundable deposit.  We accept all major forms of payment.  Your deposit secures your rates and triggers us to start making tee times and reservations.

Step 4 – full payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival.  Once the group has fully paid, we will mail you a Player’s Kit,  which contains the final itinerary, golf, lodging and car rental vouchers, maps and directions, and local area references for restaurants and outside activities. This information may be provided online through our Player’s Portal instead of being mailed.

Step 5 – arrive and have a fantastic vacation! Be sure to pack your sunscreen and your vouchers! You will need them to check into the pro shops and resorts/hotels.

Step 6 – we will follow up with you after your vacation to see how it went and if the group has any suggestions for improvement.  Our goal is to deliver the ultimate customer experience before, during and after your trip!

What about refunds and cancellations?

Quite simply, golf is a game of honor.  Clients may take a “mulligan” on our golf trips when emergencies arise or plans unexpectedly change.  We will charge for any non-refundable fees imposed by hotels, courses, or other suppliers, and we will retain the $200 deposits for cancellations within 30 days of travel.  Just call us if something unforeseen happens and we’ll do everything possible to favorably resolve the situation. ​

Cancellations Due To weather:  Rain checks are called at the sole discretion of the courses.  If Mother Nature disrupts your round and the course is deemed unplayable by the staff, the course may offer rain checks or refunds for all or part of your round.  We will work with you and the courses to sort out your options for rain checks and / or refunds for your group. Basically, if the course refunds our payments, we’ll refund your payments.

Covid-19: We will fully refund any planned trips due to Covid-19 issues 30+ days in advance of your travel. If a Covid-19 issue arises within the 30 day window, we’ll do our best to refund your money. We will keep any funds required to pay penalties imposed on us on behalf of your group. Otherwise, we will make a full refund to you.
